Saving & Archiving of Evolution Data
Recently found the need to rebuild my machine and as such followed what I thought were proper backup procedures so that I would be sure to save my mail, contacts, tasks etc. I saved all of the files in the .evolution folder in desktop and used the 'simple backup and restore software' to make a backup of the desktop. My understanding was that once rebuilt, I could put the files back in the appropriate .evolution folder but this did not restore anything. Plan be was to use the simple restore software. Somehow this saw my backup as corrupted. Is their not a simple way of exporting or archiving this data to a csv or simular file will provide some alternate form of backup?
